Are you a turtle or giraffe? August 8, 2013. Sound so simple, and most children would be more than happy to portray either animal. The turtle comes out to eat and be social, and then goes back into their shell by retracting their head and legs into their normal environment inside their shell. To the turtle it is a necssary part of their life. In contrast, the giraffe seeks to lengthen their long necks and carries its complete body frame gracefully with long graceful movements.
